Made with buttery sourdough, a rich vanilla custard, currants and sultanas, it's baked until luscious and then finished with a toasty bruleed sugar topping. It is a perfect make ahead dessert to serve with vanilla ice cream and the recipe came from a chef that was kind enough to share the recipe with me.
